How to use HSC for encoder in cpu1215c dc/dc/dc

Doni Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi I need help with HSC I just want to use 1 phase, so I only use 1 output from encoder. I attach some of my setting for HSC. (pic untitle1-untitle3 = setting HSC) (pic untitle4 = connecting input and HSC) (pic untitle5 = result from watch table) (pic untitle6 = all tag) (pic untitle7 = information wiring for encoder) 2 other pic is the wiring and test, when I turn encoder is ok (on and off perfectly). but the value in %ID1000 not change? maybe my setting is wrong, so can some body help me. thanks Attachment Need Help.zip (702 Downloads)

Monitor the ID1000 in your watch table and spin the encoder. Make sure you also reduce the I0.0 filter to minimal value from the default of 6.40 ms. And of course, remember to download your hardware configuration.

If, I don't understand wrong, Recently, I used a HSC in a project and you should to change the input of the CV, because you are using this input to the HSC, you might use other input for the CV, for example I0.1, so the first step is remove the input in the CV and you can see the value changing.

Doni Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi About your suggest I already try to makeCTRL_HSC in an FC but I am not understand "do not call the FC" Whats the meaning?. I also try toreduce the I0.0 filter to 3.20 ms but also not work. Btw I attach program for HSC, is this is correct sir? (I only insert HSC and CV) Please help. The CV input is used to use a new Countvalue. (A new begin value to begin counting) Change it to a Marker, which is false. And see what happens. Best regards, Wizard

When I turn the encoder (I make wiring in I0.0) the light is show data is in. but the value in watch table ID1000 still not change. Can you show how to use this HSC correctly sir. Please. (Whenever the countvalue reaches the desired value it will be called by interrupt, so you can set a new countvalue (Start all over again)) Perhaps this thread might help: Sample Program: S7-1200 High Speed Counter (HSC) Best regards, Wizard

Doni Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi Wizard I try program from the link that you give and I dont know why the value is still zero?. I mean if CTRL_HSC ("EN" connect) is the High Speed Conter running? I think if HSC running and same with value 1234567 then address M20.0 supposed active. Like this pic below. Sorry for ask again and again, cos this is part of my final project sir. Thanks.
