How upload a S7-1200 program in STEP 7 V11 SP2

But in 1200, there is 1 very good feature that, while uploading comments also get uploaded. Because there is no symbol table, all naming are done in plc tag list itself. regards At least in V10.5 SP2, I did an upload and some call-out function call in-line comments were lost in the upload. The comment box call-out was visible so I knew I did something special there but had to decipher it from the clues to figure out what trick I was using at that spot in the logic. Thanks.

Hello vipz, If there is such possibility this must be notified through some update under S7-1200 tree (Updates). As of now this feature can't be realized. It may be possible in future.

vipz Gold Member Joined: 9/2/2012 Last visit: 4/29/2023 Posts: 711 Rating: (30)	Hai, all these modules will detect when you do detect option. but that will be saved with default adress. say, while doing programming, DI default adress was starting with 10, you made it from 12 (just an example). when you do detect, it will detect with default adress 10, not with downloaded adress 12. if you downloaded this hardware config again, you are finished also cpu property like clock, retentivity range etc will not get uploaded. so you should have original bkup. there will not be any problem for program blocks.

And it's very important not to touch any configuration on the PLC, because it's a working machine's PLC and I would like to see only the values of it's timers. So I did the same like in your video. I choosed the Unspecified CPU, then detect, but I got and error: "Order number could not be found online". I attached a screenshot about it. You can see that on the project tree there are no programs or anything. Could you tell what could be the problem? I usin Tia Porta V12 SP1. On the other hand I know the order number. So I configured the device, but then how could I get the program? I tried Online / Accesible device / Show, but I can see the same in the project tree, so no programs. Thank you in advance!
