I/O expansion block problems

My school resently bougt the new s7 1200 seris plc, to replace the old s7 200 series. But we have a problem whit theI/O expansion block. The green light on the hardware goes green, but the output dont go high. Is it a firmware problem? What is the newst version now? They are v1.1. Its the 24vac/dc 8in/8 relay out block.

Denilson Pegaia Platinum Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 5/26/2023 Posts: 4184 Rating: (1342)	Hi Oystein LB, e.g. this type of problem is related to one of this three causes: 1 - The module bus is not correctly connected to the left module. Try to disconnect and reconnect it. Take a look at the S7-1200 System manual,36932465, table 1-7, and chapter 3.3.2. 2 - The module is not corrected connectet to the power supply. Some modules needs more than one point of connection to the power supply. Take a look on the same manual, at apendix A for your module wire diagram. 3 - The HW configuration is not downloaded to the CPU. Click wiht the right mouse button on the PLC project tree, and command "compile; HW config" / "download HW config"
