Hi another question: I have to install wincc (TIA) on a panel PC I still don't know whether to use a 15" (6AV7260-3GE40-0FX6) or a 19" ( 6AV7261-0GD20-3AA0) I need to buy a runtime license for one of these panels... Which license do I have to buy? Is it a function of the Tags? Is there a full license? Furthermore, is the license that I will purchase suitable for both one panel pc and the other? Thank you Roby ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello Roby Here in the delivery release there is a excel list with all order numbers and available packages in a good overview, you should find anything your need: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109813587 WinCC Advanced is basically the same runtime that runs on Comfort Panels but only in a PC Runtime environment. (It has almost the same functions but better performance and is made for biggger projects) WinCC Professional is technically similar to WiCC V7.X and is a real SCADA System. If you never used it before and you do not have the need to choose exactly this Version i would use winCC Advanced in your situation if possible. (We cannot tell all differences in detail, this are two different Systems) (WinCC Unfied would also be an option for a PC Runtime.... also a completely different technical solution but similar to the existing WinCC Systems...) If you need basic consulting you can also contact your locals Siemens contact. A WinCC RT License can be used on common PCs and on IPCs. There are often IPC/HMI Packages where you can order with the IPC also a winCC RT (then you get the License a littel bit cheaper) but If you want to use the license universal then you should by the normal package Bye Murof |
If this Information really helps, you could use the Rate function |
