installing WinCC Comfort V.11 SP2 from an iso file

I have windows 7 64-bit with virtual XP OS where I tried to install. Can someone tell me what's wrong. Thanks. Hi, I have a similar problem installing WinCC Comfort V.11 SP2 from an iso file downloaded from Siemens ftp site. I have tried burning the image to disk, unzipping it to c:, mounting as a virtual drive,all these options have failed with the same message, see attached jpeg. I have downloaded this file twice & the engineer is saying it is a good file....I am running Windows 7 Pro 32 bit & no virtual machine is installed. Thanks for any help with this. Mikeintx Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I did check the link. The engineer found that the file uploaded to the ftp site was indeed corrupt so he mailed me the disk over night. Now as I try to install, this is the next error msg. The company doing the work for us first sent me S7 basic & had me install it on the PC, it would not work with his progamming because he used S7 pro so he sent me the pro software with WinCC Basic, after install I got an error msg saying that I needed to upgrade to WinCC Comfort V.11 SP2, now this morning I recieved the WinCC Advanced/Comfort v.11 SP2 and then Igot thiserror msg. Any ideas on how to remove Basic & install this version. Attachment next error.JPG (591 Downloads)

Mikeintx Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	You are correct, but since the option to uninstall WinCC Basic was not an option in CP, I uninstalled S7 & reinstalled with unchecking WinCC Basic during install. Everything works fine now. Thank you very much I did this before I saw your post, I'm wondering why I don't recieve an email from forum when a post is answered. Would have saved me some time figuring it out. I have the recieve email option checked. Thanks again Mike
