Hello Ahmed; Profinet and Modbus TCP are 2 Ethernet protocols that can share the same physical link, so there is no problem implementing them both on an integrated Profinet interface on the CPU. IOf yopu want more confirmations, just do a search for .<Modbus TCP Profibet> in the search box on this page. This, by the way, is a very good way to find out if the subject you are researching has already been broached on the forum, and gives access to a lot ofpossibilities foryour own projects. Also look at the following FAQ, that discusses connections and protocols supported by default on the S7-300/400 CPUs anf their CPs: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/24352751 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
