Linear Scaling in WinCC

RX100 Posts: 53 Rating: (0)	DearExperts, I am using S7300 CPU and WinCC V6.2.All I need to do is to enter a valuein Minutes inRuntimeon WinCC and get the same value on the S5Timer on PLC. The data formaton data block is obviously S5Time.I tried every possible thing that I could but of no use. Can anyone please help me ASAP. Thanks v much Navs

The easiest way is to declare the TIME variables in PLC, this could be comunicated with WinCC as doubleinteger (number of miliseconds so there you could use linear scaling). In the PLC use for conversion the Standard library IEC functions TIM_S5TI (Fc40) and S5TI_TIM (Fc33). Regards Sydney
