Make led blink using clock and Ptrig and gates

Hi All ,

I want to make a led (q0.0 ) blink when ever there is an input signal ( alarm) 

i have put the input signal to P_TRIG so every time there is this signal it will set bit M0.1

now i can reset this bit when i want to reset the alarm that is why i used P_TRIG 

So i want to use clock and this bit (m0.1 ) through a XOR gate or and AND gate to blink the led Q0.0

the problem is on the gate i do not see how to set bit 

"And Byte" is for Bytes,not for Bools.

The block you have it's not an AND gate. It does bitwise AND operation on 2 bitstrings (i.e. bytes, words and so on) and the result is also bitstring.

To perform AND operation in LAD you simply connect 2 (or more) contacts in series.

i tried simply adding two contacts and giving output to Led but this also not working
