disco67 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi Newbies question, CPU 221 or 226 + TD200 (Adress 1800 confirmed in the TD device) + ETH0(Adress 1500)+ PID(Adress 0) If a try for exemple to use the Var VD500 it make some trouble in the prog ! There is NO reference for this var in the cross reference list !! If i try to take a look with the S7 Explorer and force view VD500 It s look like s a internal or user variable (hole betwen ref 300 and 1500) !!! Can anybody explain my the trick ? Memory usage and so on ? THX a lot in advance for help. Regards Disco67

disco67 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi, Change the extension in "mwp" Try for ex with a CPU226 and TD200 (or without ?) and take a look with "PC Access" for exemple the var VD500 (!) It s used ! (......................) Dangerous..... Day si searching the answer or the tool for viewing wath s happen -> no luck.......:(:(:( Thx in advance for help ! Regards disco67

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, the problem I expect is the POU "Dead_Time". concerning the documentation you have to specify a pointer to the input "Start". It is a start address in the V-memory for the calculation of the POU. Concerning the documentation the necessary memory buffer is: 4Dead_TM_ms / Sample_TM_ms So concerning your program it is: Start at &vb400 Buffer size is 42000 (vw261) / 50 (vw259) = 160 Bytes. So the used range is vb400 .... 559. I hope this helps
