Migrate from winccFlex 2008 sp1 to tia error

Sulung Bronze Member Joined: 5/26/2007 Last visit: 10/22/2024 Posts: 127 Rating: (3)	hi, i was trying to migrate a project that i created with winccflex 2008 to tia. i am using ktp1000pn. but i got an error message: The source project cannot be connected to the SQL server. Check the installation. The WinCC SQL server instance may not be available. what went wrong?

Denilson Pegaia Platinum Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 11/4/2024 Posts: 4351 Rating: (1451)	Hi, I don't see that before, however I suggest you create a new directory on the Windows and copy the project archives "project name".HMI and "project name"_log.ldf to this new directory. Try to migrate from these copied the archives.

The fault message is clear: the STEP 7 Basic just import projetct of WinCC flexible 2008 (no SPs). Open the project with WinCC flexible and save it as version (2008). I try it and works here.

Denilson Pegaia Platinum Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 11/4/2024 Posts: 4351 Rating: (1451)	Hi, I have WinCC flexible 2008 SP1 and STEP 7 BASIC 10.5 SP2 and it works. (like I said, you must save as version). Maybe you had some installation problem there.
