Sorry for the delay in reply.

I have uploaded the newer version of the program with Version 6.0 where the blocks are not protected with block Privacy.

Now the FB 50 ( Modbus Block) can be downloaded in old version of CPU's too.

                         Thanks for your standard Modbus logic block V6.0. It is working nice with my old projects. But when it used recently then I am facing a new problem; Block shown Error “1E0F”.

                         Block shown some error while open it in step-7 and check with option check & update. I have attached that snapshot.

                         Is it due to blocks versions?

I used your program of 1SI for em6400, but after configuring the TX stops blinking say after 10-12 request.

Current status: I`ve just configured the hardware and software, yet not connected the modbus cable.

 Hi,

I did not tried the CP 341 with TIA Portal.

But I hope the same logic should since we are going to use the same module ( CP 341) in TIA portal. Only thing to be checked will be the library blocks ( send and receive blocks) of the CP 341 are same in the TIA portal and Step7.

        Thanks for your useful Modbus sample project. It helps a lot of people in the Siemens forum.

        I used this Modbus sample to apply in the project and it happlen one issued need your advice.

The project used CPU S7 400H to control system which use 2 CP341 to communication with 2 MK5 Gateway.

The funciton of FB50 for modbus communication was woking well but power losses.

When the power loss in MK5 and recovery, CP341 was indication Failure.

All the communication queries was failure too.

My understanding is FB50 only woking at the first time when PLC system start up but the failure happen it was not automatic recovery.

So my question is: How to make FB50 continuously working after communication failure recovery?

Please give me the advice to trouble shoot this issue.

I used FB50 2 times in OB1. 

1 Line to connect CP341 with Air compressor 1,2 and Dryer 1.

1 Line to connect another CP341 with Air Compressor 3,4 and Dryer 2.
