i have 2 slaves that station id,s is 1 and 2. i want to read holding register with 03 function code. and starting address is 3900 in modbus and i want to read 64 register .

 Hi,

Please check the attachment for the Modbus Program backup with CP 341 as per your requirement.

Please note that the CP 341 to be parameterised as Modbus Master and the communication setting like Baud Rate, Stop Bits, parity all need to be set as per the slave device configuration.

As per the current program you can read all 64 register of a slave in one query. But you may have to split the into multiple queries,if the salve does not support reading of 64 register at a time. Check the slave manual for more information.

but in my project i have got 2 cp341 in 2 different rack and i want to read 2 powermeter from each cp341.

my CPU is 412-2DP and i have 2 IM153-1 in 2 different rack.

how can i use this program?

cp341 no.1 => powermeter no.1 and no.2

cp341 no.2 => powermeter no.3 and no.4

Hi.

The backup I sent you contains the program for one CP 341.

You have to just call the FB 50 (MODBUS STANDERD LOGIC) one more time at OB 1 for another CP 341 module. Which means One Call for each CP card and pass the different parameters like Logical Address of CP card, No of Queries, Modbus IDB,Sendlist DB and Data DB.

Duplicate the Sendlist DB and Data DB with new DB number for another set of CP 341.

Revert back for further queries.

 Could you please give the MLFB number of the S7 400 CPU?

 Hi,

 You are not able to download the FB50 to the CPU because the selected CPU doesn't support blocks  protected with 'Block privacy'.

 Please find the attachment for the FB 50 without block privacy.

i copy the DB102 in this file, to you can see it and fix the db4 and UDT2 for me if you can

DB102 is exactly what i need to read

 Hi,

It is good that you are able to read the data's from Power meter. So I beleive you know well about the query to be given at DB1 (Send list DB).

I have created a New UDT 3 for power meter data's as per the DB 102 and updated the Data DB (DB 4) with new UDT.

Find the attachment for the updated backup.
