Modbus TCP - FC50 is outside the user range.

Ducolares Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hello all, I'm trying to add a function block from TCP Modbus Library (FB240) into a CFC but i'm getting the following error message: "FB240 cannot be imported, the referenced block FC50 is outside the user range." My current user range is setfrom 60 to 700 and I know how to change it. The problem is if I make this change I will have to stop the cpu what is a big problem to me. Another thing is FC50 is already been used by system. I'm able to rename the FC50 on the library, but the FB240 still calls the FC50. I would like to know if there is any way to change the number of the FC50 and make this affect the calls of the FB240 or if do you know another solution for this case. Best regards,

On the menu select [Options] -> [Customize] -> [Compile/Download] In the dialog box that opens, change the FC block range lower limit to 50 from the default value of 60. Your problem should go away. I ran into this same problem with the Modbus TCP block.... [edit] Saeed, the Modbus TCP library is something you pay good $$ for and is protected by copyright, so it cannot be "shared." Please respect that.
