Hello PCS 7, you can find more information and a list with instructions in the manual collection for the ET200SP
https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/84133942 in the chapter "System wide information > Diagnosis functions manuals > Diagnostics > 5 System diagnostics by means of the user program" There are several blocks which read diagnostic data. Hopefully this can help you. Regards nussbaum |

Hi, You can use the standard functionality: Maintenance Station. In your plant hierarchy settings, you can select the option: "Derive diagnostic screens from the plant hierarchy". You can choose the free version: "Maintenance Station Basic" or "Standard" which requires a license. What it does is that a new plant hierarchy folder is created called: "Diagnostics". It will generate a visual status of all your connected hardware like AS, PC stations and network objects. The difference between basic and standard is that with the licensed version you have extended functionality and depth (zoom in to IO cards). |

Hi, Maintenance station. That is the best option! Alternatively you can build your own diagnostic package or use the "Module Drivers" to provide diagnostic information. As long as you work from the SIMATIC Process Control System PCS 7 Released modules (V8.2) the Module drivers can give you basic diagnostic functions anyways! Cheers |
