Best regards........ Sometimes this problem may occur due to interference on communication. Once you start machine initially at that time may be heavy load motor or drives also starting. That create high noise and if your profibus or any communication cable between plc & hmi is passing through the same route then it may have high interference due to that it can hang the hmi. Once u restart the hmi it will be reset in hmi and again starts as usual bexcuse now ur heavy loads has already is startup condition. So it will not create high noise once it has been started. Hello friends I once happened to turn on a MP 277 10 "Key, after which they turned on a motor 110KW starting with star / delta in the meantime, the MP has done all his things Bootloader, etc. .. it was the time that going to the homepage of the hourglass comes out at that time the motor 110 KW has changed from delta to star, the hourglass is stuck on the screen. had to turn off and on the MP and then everything worked. Maybe a voltage drop. ...

I agree with Nicky123, This may be reason for HMI Hang. I also faced problem of HMI hang due to communication. So It may be the reason. As the motor load is too much high that may generate too much high intereference. You can check the communciation cable route between PLC & HMI. Also provide proper earth to shielding of cable both the side. Check HMI earthing also. Hope it helps you.

Maybe a voltage drop. ... Dear friends, To make analysis for the reason of a problem we shouldn't assume that every thing happen arround is the reason of the problem. If so, Why not the reason that make touch screen of this panel doesn't work, is that the office boy did not prepared the cup of coffee very good today? Who can judge? Let me tell you... Experience and logic would judge. I believe that when starting 110 kW happened and then there wer delay in the boot of the OP / MP. I am totally believe that it happen as you have told us. But who can tell that it is the reason? Did you tested it with more than one or two panels? Are these panels new or old? Do you have a vibration on the electrical enclosure - which is too important by the way - and may be a reason for appearing glass clock for long time? If turning on a large motor will affect on the performance of the MP370, I would say to you that it means that there is a big problem in its design. We can understand problems comming from interference which affects the communication. But affecting Windows CE panel and make booting is too long !!!! I cann't understand or accept if I am the end customer. Because in this case, if I am the customer, you will told me "Mr. Customer, this brillient touch screen will work only in case you do not operate your motors" What should I do with you in this case?? To conclude, as I told before, Ican understand problems comming from interference which affects the communication. And all users should follow the installation procedure and take allprecautions to avoid problems in communication. In any case, I believe that we have made a good job here and toldWago our point of view for things which may be the reason of his problem. And I think he can solve his problem now. Hope this helps and have a nice day for everybody.
