Hello Sir, Please advice where can i get the firmware files for below said control unit. 6SN1118-0NJ01-0AA0 Version A A5E00108638 Firmware card part number is A5E00228755 V 07.02.06 When I power up the unit display shows E-A001. Please help & send me the exact link to download the exact firmware file. Please do the needful at the earliest. Machine is in breakdown condition. You need to download "Toolbox" and unzip it to find out 611U firmware
|

Hello Kiran, Please download & read documentation_a0703.exe file. Then check Simucom U software version installed on your PC/PG, if it is latest version, its OK or else please download simocomu_070206.exe & installed this on your PG/PC. You can search l& upgrade the latest Simucom U on web latter on also, for time being to load firmware use the above link. Then download toolbox_070204.exe file on your PG/PC & then try to download it to 611U drive. HTH. |

Update my answer --You need to follow the link (which you saw many xx.exe files) --to download "611u_0702xx.exe" --unzip it, found in the package--611u.ufw. By the way, I just did the same thing for my customer today (Nov. 01) who had a 611U control card needing a firmware upgrade to V.6.1. I did this in less than 40 min's some tips: #1--the link you mentioned is for version V7.2, If you need other ver. you can search on Siemens web.here #2--SIMO COM U version may not same but needing higher than 611u.ufw version #3--My SIM COM U version is V14. my customer old ver. is V1.1--I don't know yours my 611U card is an encoder feedback type (NH); yours is resolver feedback (NJ) #4--Upgrade --download by SIM COM U to 611U taking 3 to 5 min's make sure no power interrupting during download #5--you can download firmware to a USB storage then copy to you Laptop to unzip. It is better. I don't suggest unzip in the Win10 or Win 7 PC. If my answer helps, please use the "rating" button

Hello Sir, Good Morning, Thanks for your expert advice. I am using Simocom U Ver 14.03.02 & my laptop OS is WinXP Sr. Pack 3. I have downloaded the toolbox_070204.exe file & extracted but i cannot find firmware files in it (.ufw, cfw) Please help Awaiting your quick reply. BR Kiran |
