Hello, Update 2 for STEP 7 V11 and WinCC V11 (06/2011) http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/50085730 Did you try to remove only one of Step7? To see there what options have? I just received a fix for the installation problems regarding S7DOS, which is responsible for the online interfaces. Unfortunatly I reinstalled my whole computer so I can't test the registry fix. Attached to this post is the fix Siemens mailed to me. Below are the original instruction that go along with the attachement. Perhaps any of you can test it and post the results here in this topic? Comments from Siemens: Our suggested workaround is as follow:
1. Unpack the attached ZIP file. 2. Rename the .re_ file too .reg 2.1 Maybe the content of the REG-File have to be changed to your situation (e.g. D: instead of C:)! 3. Start the .reg file with double click 4. Start a repair installation of Step7 V11. AttachmentS7DOS del reg if error 1605.zip (826 Downloads) |

I geuss you have up to date installed compatible each other software and already have been tried all above mentioned suggestions. So, you can try Support Request... Best regards, Hristo Mihalev |

This thread had a similar problem: At least that was when running windows 7 with vmware.

Yes, it can run on Win7-32. What version of the portal in on the media you are using for the install? There are readme documents with the install and FAQs talking about things to watch out for with portal installations. If you already read and followed their instructions, it may be time to issue a Support Requestto get your installation working properly. |
