Hi, as I know form the past, even if you use a USB-RS232 converter a Com-port will be used in Windows operating system. 1. Disconnect the USB converter from your PC 2. Open the Systemcontrol panel/Device manager and goto Ports (COM & LPT) 3. Now connect your USB converter. You now should see after a wile a additional entry with a COM-Port number in brakets. This is the virtual com-port for your USB-converter. Select this com port number in LOGO! Soft Comfort (Tools; Options; Interface). You also can use the button "Automatic Detection" but depending on the number of the virtual com-port this may take a long time. After that you should be able to start the online test in LOGO! Soft Comfort. This works fine on my PC. I have attached some picture whare you can find more details. Hope this helps AttachmentCom_ports.zip (246 Downloads) |
