We seemed to have a similar problem with our Simovert MV drive part number: 6SE8072-1CA01-Z. 1.The display on the OP7 was showing Ram Memory Failure and Ready for Transfer. 2. On the PG, the read value of the fault was Communication error to OP7. 3. On the CS7 Communication Module, H31 was not flashing.(This is supposed to flash in a healthy state) What we did: 1. Replaced the CS7 communication module...Problem NOT solved 2. Replaced OP7...Problem NOT solved 3. Replaced the Profibus cable, including plugs...Problem NOT solved 4. Replaced one of the SS52 Interface modules which has the Profibus cable going to the OP7. Problem NOT solved 5. We downloaded the program onto the drive...Problem NOT solved 6. We read in the drive documentation that the SS52 module needs an OBJECT file to be downloaded to it, so we left the drive ON and tried to make up a cable as per the documentation, BUT when we went back outside to the drive (BEFORE DOWNLOADING THE OBJECT FILE), it had a DIFFERENT Fault number 88-Control Cabinet Communication fault OP7. 6.We ACKNOWLEDGED the fault and the Drive was Ready to operate...PROBLEM DISAPPEARED, the drive has been running for the past 14hours mow. HOW do we explain this? We do not seem to know what the solution was, can anyone please explain to us the correct Remedy and diagnostics as we might be faced with the same problem again in the future. Thank you Mandla -------------- new subject after Splitting from OP7 program lost in Simovert MV 3.3 kV |
