OPC UA attribute for blocks with Openness

JtHove Joined: 3/10/2023 Last visit: 4/4/2023 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello forum, As a tool I want to make an add-in that given a set of structs makes a DB with arrays for them and a FC to write to them. Reading the Openness documentation this seems to be possible. This DB also needs to be able to be monitored with OPC UA. To add this manually is a small task, add a checkmark and make the DB accesible in the interface. But if I can do it with the tool that would take steps away for human error. Is the attribute for OPC UA access on the blocks accesible/queryable through GetAttribute(infos)? When exporting a DB to source the OPC information is lost so it might not be possible. And is adding the DB or the items to the OPC UA Server Interface possible with Openness? The documentation only talks about creating an interface and importing an XML file. But editing isn't mentioned. Does this mean the only option is: export existing interface -> generate xml for the new items -> combine the xml files-> import the new xml Edit: This is for an S7-1500 CPU and the TIA is V18 SP 1

So at least I'm covered on that front. Now I only need to implement the making and importing of the server interface.
