Brad7 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have recently installed a new WinCC Flexible Advanced 2008 SP3 onto my new computer. When I now try and download to a TP277 or TP177 it says I need to upgrade the OS which I have done before. But with this new version when I try and update the OS I get a fault message in German which when translated means that the command is not available. How can it not be available ? Can you please help as this has now become urgent. Thank You Attachment untitled.JPG (250 Downloads)

Brad7 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello, I do not have the MLFB number with me at the moment as I am not on site. But it is the latest TP277 and TP177B which I am trying to update and as I say the problem only started when I installed a brand new WinCC Flexible 2008 Advanced onto my new machine. I get the same error message in Gernan if I go to "Projects- Transfer - Options" menu. Then if I try and go to "Projects- Transfer - License Keys" I get another error message, see attached file. Nowhere in the help does it even mention these error messages. Attachment untitled.JPG (153 Downloads)

Brad7 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi Wizard, My apologies I meant it is a MP277. But I have the exact same problem and fault messages when trying to download or update the OS on a TP177B. I just don't understand how a brand new WinCC Flexible Advanced package once installed says that the command is not available.

Brad7 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I have not tried Prosave. Have never used it before, can I only connect via a serial link ? My question is still why now can't I update the OS from a brand new WinCC Flexible installation, yet on my old laptop I could do it no problem.

My suggestion is toresetting the Operating System to the Factory Settings and then to update OS. But using prosave. In above mentioned FAQ have explanation in details how to do it. best regards, Hristo Mihalev

frenko Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have same problem, with TP 277, isn't possible transfer OS with MPI, I solved with transfer OS via ethernet and whereupon is possible transfer project via MPI. Yesterday same problem with OP 177B but this panel not have ethernet port. I forgot....prosave not recognize both panel and my sistem is Windows 7 32 with wincc flex 2008 sp3 update 1. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions.
