Picteru size on OS

I create a picture (.pdl) and I specify the sizes (for example 1000х500). But when compiling OS, the dimensions of all created pictures become 1920x890. Tell me please, what could be the problem? Thank you!

The picture sizes can be set in the OS project editor in WinCC Explorer of the OS (Server of client). You can set how many screens you want (up to 4) and in which order (square, horizontal). You can choose from a template like SIMATIC Standard 19201080 or 1024768. What happens is that all pictures are resized to fit in those limits you have chosen. Remember that when choosing 1920*1080, you have a height of 1080, but since the process picture consists also of the Overview (Area buttons/PCS7 logo/Clock etc) and Buttons (Buttons for operation of WinCC), the remaining size for your process screen is less. For a height of 1080, the process screen height (where you put your block icons and visualization of the process) is 847. It is possible to create a new template with dimensions you can assign yourself, but that takes some effort.

According to the project, when you click on a button, a certain picture opens in a window that adjusts to the specified size. And I need it to be of a given size (for example 100x100 or 500x500 and so on), and not 1920x890

Heisenberg2 Gold Member Joined: 5/3/2017 Last visit: 5/21/2024 Posts: 673 Rating: (217)	Hi dmitrii.anyushin, you can specified the size of a picture in the Graphic Designer (WinCC Explorer > Graphic Designer > [Name of the process picture]). Then you have to click on the background of the picture. Now you can find in the "Object Properties > Geometry > Picture Width & Picture Height". With this settings you can set the size of these picture. With regards Heisenberg Attachment PictureSize.png (101 Downloads)
