Hi, the signal you are talking about is bit 6 of the Drive Status Word 1. It should correspond with a display of 008 on the Drive LED display (PMU), when the PLC bit is disabled. There are multiple reasons that can cause this status. Please look at the manualHERE, in particular the section on Function Diagrams (Page 520, and 200). Take a look also at Function Diagram 180, this is where the signals that control your drive are parameterised. You could also try and type in 008 into the search window on this site to find lots of previous enquireis regarding this "Condition". It does not necessarily mean there is a fault. Your drive will not be ready to run unless bits 10 (PLC Control), and bits 2 to 6 are not "logic 1". The drive will then start once Bit 0 is switched on. Hope this points you in the right direction. dear sir, i don't have k80 . could the problem in optical cable or ribbon cable between IGD and IVI.

Hello, your first question about trace. As described by you, the drive runs, suddendly stops and makes °008. Check the fault history. If the drive shows no active fault, it seems that the problem comes from out side. Or there might be a loose contact or a thermal issue ..... Refer to the function diagrams. Dear seaf_khalid, I think all the explanations made by the experts are quite clear. Nevertheless, I will give you some additional information, that I hope it could help you solve your problem. First,according to the PLC rung you attached, the problemis happening with one of your Hoist drives only (Hoist 2). So, if I dindn't understand wrongly, your drives are in operation (STATE 14) and suddenly hoist stops due to this inhibit signal shown in the PLC. You didn't mention it, but I assume thatunder this conditionHoist 1 is at STATE9 (READY FOR SWITCHING ON). If this is so, then I would guess that you are having an intermitent problem in HOIST 2inputs as mentioned by the experts before (may be a loose cable) in any of the connections of the first bits in the control word. As you can see in the attached status diagram, it shows all the different states of the drive, as well as the necessary conditions or situations that should be met to go from STATE 14 (OPERATION) to STATE 8 (SWITCH-ON INHIBIT). It means that you could be having an OFF1, OFF2 or OFF3 situation, even for a very short period of time, long enough to be detected by the drive to cause a stop. So, I would suggest you to check thecontrol word directly in Drive Monitor, in order to see if one of those bits blink. If it is not possible to see them blink with the naked eye, you should do some logic in the PLC in order to detect a negative edge in any of those bits while the hoist is in operation.
