Hi, First sorry for digging up! For a development project / non-production I need to handle approximatly 20 Profibus I/O. PLC is manly used for interlocking and bridging all the signals to our system. For that I have : * S7-1500 ( 6ES7 516-3AN01-0AB0) * Firmware V 2.8.3 * TIA portal V13 Since we are not using all the Profibus I/O from the begining we need to get the information of who is connected or disconnected. For the main PLC I use a looping incremental counter which works well but I need to map the all Profibus network. Parameters I use are : - General : Startup : Aloow CPU startup even in case of mismatches. I tough I could handle it with OB86 ( or an other dedicated "system OB") but this is not the case. In fact in the diagnostic buffer view I only get : "IO peripheral failure", linked to event 0002:39CB. Others PLC for other parts of the project are mapping Profinet error to OB122 so I don't understand why this is not the case here. What am I missing? Thank you very much for your help! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

You can use DeviceStates to poll the Profinet devices in your project, if you want to know what nodes are ok. |

Yes, that's what I did to solve it but I wanted to use OB86 interrupt. Do you now why I do'nt get it? Thank you |
