Power supply for Siemens Automation Hardware

PLease suggest how can i use this power supply for Siemens automation hardwares, which works on 24 V, DC. Also How can I convert this power supply to 230 V , single phase AC supply to use it for servers and workstations. Thanks With Regards Anshul TIwari

Hello, When selecting power supply please note that it supports 115/230 VAC, 50/60 Hz. Some of Sitop power supplies have a selector to select the input voltage range (115 or 230 VAC). Workstations and servers can be ordered with 115 VAC power supplies.

For 24 VDC Supply,use SMPS or SIemens Powersupply. ansul Also How can I convert this power supply to 230 V , single phase AC supply to use it for servers and workstations. for Server & WorkStation There are two options. either you can go for stepup Trafo 115 to 230 V AC or you can order server & Workstation which should work on 115V AC.

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (264)	Also you can use 3rd party PS - like Phoenix Contact or AC/AC converter (230/115). Please mention the output current - your PS should be powerful enough to fulfill energy consumption requirements.

gre_m Posts: 947 Rating: (45)	Hello ansul You can use the power supply from Phoenixcontact 220/24V. as say Aret. The same source can be connected directly to 115V. In S7-4xx need use PS405. Some of the IPC have the option of power supply 24V

Anant.singh Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	Use Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) of Phoenix Contact,Omron, or Meanwell... They all comes with a enabled button through which you can select 115/220 VAC as per your requirement.
