Predict cycle time

isde Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi, I wonder if it is possible to predict the cycle time without culculating it in ob1 with #OB1_PREV_CYCLE or monitor it while runing. It could be useful to pretict this to set scan cycle monitoring time in a good way. /isde

It could be useful to pretict this to set scan cycle monitoring time in a good way. /isde Dear isde, "Cycle Time" of a CPU is a random process which several random variables such as interrupts may change the value. There are some method for forecasting variable based on history of the value and parameters that has effect on that. One of the method for doing so would be "Neural Networks" and you can find plenty of helpful discussions in this Textbook. Best regards, Hamid Hosseini
