Problem connection PG/PC via ethernet

If I set communication of PG/PC to TCP/IP, itgive me an error 'Online: Cannot load the selected communication driver; File not found.' . The diagnostic test response is: access points using this paramter set: ->S7ONLINE Error in function call SRMD_Set(..) Error: No interface handle First I try to reinstall Step 7, then I try to manually startSIMATIC IEPG HelpSERVICE, then I haveadd the file s7oiehsx.exe to the exclusive programs in Antivirus settingsand finallyI have try to fix error using a Winsock patch but nothing,the error persists. Rated X Posts: 1547 Rating: (129)	Hello Pier_Incas Check your Protocol settings in the network connectivity. All Protocols must be enabled. Had you tried to ping your Station? If you have no success you can try to reinstall your network driver from your Network adapter. Is your Step7 version compatible with you windows machine? Look at this article: Which version of STEP 7 is compatible with which version of Microsoft Windows operating system?

I don't know why, but after a workwhere I had to useMPI connection, when I return to use the ethernet connectionI started to have problems. I would like to point out that in set PG/PC, I can't install or uninstall any interfaces, see attachment. If I try to ping the PLC to connect I can do it and I confirm thatall protocol are enebled. My configuration is Windows 7 SP1 Enterprise & Simatic Manager 5.5 SP2, it's a Simatic field PG. Everything was fine for almost a year, then last week I switched to MPI, and since then I cannot go online with Ethernet anymore, I receive the same error (33:17088) as other users. Every ping with all devices on the net is OK. The error appears even if the Ethernet cable is unplugged! It seems that Ethernet drivers just stopped to work. Is there a way to re-install just them without uninstalling all the Step7 software? Regards

I tried to uninstall and then re-install Simatic Manager, but it didn't work. I tried to upgrade to SP3, but it didn't work. What else can I do?

I found all the interface data in this directory under XML format: C:\ProgramData\Siemens\Automation\Simatic OAM\data\LogDevices The one I was interested in is: TAP-Win32 Adapter V9.TCPIP.Auto.1.xml But I suppose the procedure is valid also for others... Inside this file look for the tag <Bindings> that lists some DLL file names. s7oniepg64x.dll s7owpstx.dll s7ontcp.dll These files are in this directory: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Siemens\Automation\Simatic OAM\bin\ I simply get newer versions of these files from another installation, and replaced them. Note: to remove the old ones you have to stop the service called S7DOS Help Service.
