HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS! Presently similar type of PLC in STOP mode problem I've been facing with IM151-8 PN/DP system. I've checked all the sorts of troubleshooting but still the problem is restated. I've a Power Module, 04 nos of DI modules, 01 Counter module measuring distance, one AI module & 02 nos of DO modules. When I'm only configuring the HW keeping the CPU & DP master module then the PLC is coming to RUN mode. But whenever I'm connecting the PM module along with other IOM's the PLC is getting to STOP mode & never coming to RUN mode. In every attempt I've connected the Bus terminator but that's not solving the issue. Another thing to mention that when I'm separately giving 24V DC supply to the CPU with DP master & separately to the PM along with IOM's all are showing normal RUN mode. But whenever I'm connecting the IOM with the CPU the controller is coming to STOP mode. Now I've some queries: 01. How to resolve this issue? 02. Is it related to 5V DC bus voltage? If it so then how to check the 5V DC BUS VOLTAGE with multimeter? 03. If it's related to firmware related issue then how to check the Firmware? Is it possible without PG? If it's then how? 04. If it's Firmware issue then is it the Firmware of the CPU or the DP master module or all the sorts of modules? If related to all modules then where the firmware be available! This HW is working in 04 panels but issue is with the 05th & 06th one. Please reply soon because it's been faced for the last 08 days & we are also not getting proper guidance from other related sources also. Please refer the attachment for HW configuration related queries. Regards Krishna Kamal ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
