Dear all,

I have a problem with the installation of the CP PtP Param V5.1 SP14. It doesn't recognize that there is TIA Portal Step 7 V12 SP1 installed in the computer, so i cannot finish the installation. In the attachement are the screen shots of the message gotten during the installation, of installed software and operating system.

Thank you all for the answers. I know that one can choose Modbus master in properties of a CP 341 in TIA Step 7. But how about loading the driver? If I go to Device Configuration and select to select Online and diagnostics of the CP 341, there are no drivers (Driver on PC) that I can download under Functions -> Load special driver. Shouldn't this be done before?

The strange thing is that on other computer (also has TIA V12 SP1 and Win 7 Prof) the PtP CP Param was installed without any problem. Strange

1. It is possible while online on CP as you mentioned.Please upload an snapshot of your application if it differes(snapshot in simulation mode).
   
2. If you could install the application program for PTP CPs, for sure you had STEP 7 at the same time on that system.

ThanksHamid for your quick reply. In attachment are the screen shots of the "Online and diagnostics -> Functions -> Load special drive" tab. The Offline_mode.png shows the offline state of TIA portal; after going online the state of TIA portal is shown in figure Online_mode.png. Screen shot after clicking on the button "Show version informatino" is given by Online_after_ShowVersionInformation.png. The last screen shot Online_after_load.png shows the TIA portal state after clicking on the button "Load".

Am I doing something wrong?
