I am facing simmilar problem when connecting this OMRON PRM21 to SiemensCPU315-2DP as slave.(6ES7 315-2AG10-0AB0). When I changed to use a DP_DP coupler (6ES7 158-0AD00...), every bit zero exchanged between the two masters was set to 1. Splitted from PROBLEM WITH ET200 PROFIBUS COMMUNICATION. |

Hello kk you say "every bit zero", but I wonder if you mean that only the first bit is ON every time. If so,please check the DIP switches of your DP/DP coupler and set the "DIA" (data validity indication) switch to OFF position (or do NOT use the first bit for user data). Have a look at chapter 4.2.2 of THIS manual for more on this subject. I hope this helps |

Thank you, fritz. In fact we have all the bit zero of each byte exchanged set to one. I am going to check the Diagnose switch. In here I attached a few screen captures. For the PRM21 with CPU315-2DP as slave case, we had tried a set up with one CPU315 as master an the other as slave. The result is positive. It is the PRM21 with CPU315 that gave negative result.
