Problem with analog input module

Dimbas Posts: 75 Rating: (0)	We have project with analog input module (6ES7 331-7KF01-0AB0) in ET 200M (6ES7 153-2BA00-0XB0). Periodically casually on analog module with address I 656 there is a error (see screenshot in attachment and diagnose file buffer cpu). That it is possible to undertake for correction of this error? aikona Posts: 487 Rating: (36)	Hi Check your configuration in the HARDWARE section .if you double click the module you see the properties page go to Inputs and check if there are values inserted for high or low limit .if you have values there and you analog signal goes above or below this limit then this will generate and interrupt. aikona Posts: 487 Rating: (36)	Hi if I read your hardware correctly then your using an 'H' system ...that out of my league ... but try changing the adress of the module , swop two analogs and see if the problem moves.check for broken/loose wire ,check cabling ie is screen connected on one side , change the module . Late Platinum Expert Joined: 1/7/2006 Last visit: 11/17/2023 Posts: 2705 Rating: (318)	Hi Dimbas, I didn't see wrong parameters on the parameters... Is this a new installation ? Which Hardware version do the AI 331-7KF01 have ? Could it be disturbance on the signal because of bad earth contacts ?

Whether defects at this module where I can find the information are known (6ES7 331-7KF01-0AB0). Than releases of modules differ? Earth Contacts have been checked up. Best Regards Dimbas

Hi Dimbas, To your questions/remarks the answers: 1. The Hardware could read from the cross-riddle on front of the card, the highest crossed number is the hardware version. 2. When you have that hardware version you can ask to your Siemens representatives if the version is ok or that there might be something wrong with it. 3. Ok, thats important.
