PROBLEM WITH ET200 PROFIBUS COMMUNICATION

john.mike Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	I have the following configuration: - Master Profibus DP CJ1W-PRM21PLC OMRON - Slave Profibus Pushbutton panel PP17-ISIEMENS GSD : siem8065.gse V 1.1 - Slave Profibus SIMODRIVE 611U SIEMENS GSD : si02808f.gsd V 2.3 - Slave Profibus ET200M IM 153-1 SIEMENS GSD : siem801d.gsd V 1.25 I did not face any communication problem with PP17-I and 611U Simodrives . I did the setup and GSD file through OMRON CX-PROFIBUS software , and it works I can read and write data to these units but I could not get Data exchange with ET200M IM153-1 INTERFACEUNIT . ET200M : 6ES7 IM153-1AA03-0XB0 COMMUNICATION INTERFACE MODULE 6ES7 IM321-1BL00-0AA0 32 DIGITAL INPUT UNIT. DIAGNOSTIC indicates : 1- configuration fault . 2-station not ready. 3- reparameterization requested. NOTE :By the wayOMRON MASTER PROFIBUSis ASPC2 SIEMENSIC & IM153-1is SPC3 SIEMENS IC . Please advice me how to solve this problem , how to set the proper parameters and is there any other GSD file for 6ES7 IM153-1AA03-0XB0. Best regrads

jklm Platinum Member Joined: 12/22/2006 Last visit: 1/25/2022 Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	Hello, The new 1.25 version of the GSD is a more sofisticated one with support of extended User parameter data. I would try with the basic GSD 1.21. May be you will loose some feartures, but it is better than no communication at all I put it in annex Attachment IM153-1_default.zip (708 Downloads)

I have tried the following GSD files but no result , I am getting the same error :- 1- siem801d.gsd V1.21 IM153-1 DEFAULT 2- siem801d.gse English V1.25 IM153-1 3- siem801d.gsg GermanV1.25 IM153-1 4- si01801d.gseEnglish V1.6 IM153-1 DPV1 5- si01801d.gsg German V1.6 IM153-1 DPV1 Acually , I am in touch withOMRON and they are assumingwrong GSD Version Number. Omron masterprofibus used SIEMENS ASPC2chipset which 100% compatible with IM153-1 soI think there should not be anycommunication problem ... Best Regards

The firts was DP Than we get DPV1 (DP version 1, with extra parametrazation possibilities during operation, acyclic read and write ofrecords, ...) In the mean time DPV2 is also available but concerns mainly isochronous mode, slave-to-slave cross communication. Important is to know what the master supports. DP, DPV1? The PDF you showus is for DPV1. Then after you install your gsd, and insert IM153-1, before insert SM321, do you insert config for slot1,config for slot2 & config for slot3? Then insert SM321. Regards
