Problem witn OPCServer.WinCC. CoCreateInstanceEx: : 80070005 (Access Denied)

Hi!

I have a problem with OPCServer.WinCC. I try to be connected to OPCServer.WinCC by the PI OPC Client and receive the message "CoCreateInstanceEx: : 80070005 (Access Denied)".

I have server and client machine, on the same workgroup (no domains), running WinXP SP2, having the same user with same password defined (and logged in).I configured the connection (with all white papers OPC Foundation provides). But I temporarily do not know what adjustments DCOM onOPCServer.WinCC node.

My question - what а brand software is required to be established on the client node and where it can be found?

yes, I can ping to 192.168.1.2 - OPCServer.WinCC. After connect to 192.168.1.2, i have the list of opc-servers (see pic). When i connect to OPCServer.WinCC I get the error message " unable to connect::opcserver.wincc; CoCreateInstanceEx returns 80080005".

I take the branch of the register in192.168.1.2 and run on node. After this i have instance of OPCServer.WinCC in DCOM - but no effect.

In 192.168.1.2, i write in DCOM "connect\indentify" and all necessary users in line with white papers OPC Foundation.

I try SCOUT on 192.168.1.2 - is OK!

But attempt SCOUT on the interface node - Error message .

close both firewalls, i think you already did it..

and try

start >all programs > simatic > simatic security control > all settings

if you have this plz run it and say accept..

if not go to dcom config (run>dcomcnfg).. console root > component services > computer > my computer

rigth click on my computer and try different thinks with "default properties"... and com security ..
even if you did this plz change and try something also you can find many information searchin forum with "dcomcnfg"

try connect anonymous try to enter user "everyone"to limits and defaults.. etc
