Dear Kayhan, I don't know exactly what you mean, but I think you want to count the amount of pulses coming from a pulse train. I presume you do not need high speed counter modules or anything. Then you could just use an edge detection combined with a counter to obtain the result you desire. Hope this helps. Kind regards, Jens

My PLC is CPU 313C Thanks. Hi there. It is not clear if you wish to do these tasks for slow pulsing rates or for high speed rates. The PLC in question can be set-up for high speed functions. If this is what you need (example: encoders) then I suggest you get the document: [LINK] CPU 31xC and CPU 31x: Installation Operating Instructions, 03/2011, A5E00105492-12 It is good to have such a document in hand.
