I've got a question about CP1623!
How could we manage a redundant ethernet network with the same card (CP1623)???
We have got two RJ45 ports!!

In my hardware configuration, I have two CPU414-4 H (both have one CP443-1 card with S7-Redconnect). Two Simatic PC stations and twoethernetswitchs.I would like to have a redundent ethernet network with this configuration, but I have only one CP1623 for each PC Station!!

So if I understand, If I want to have a redundent ethernet network, I must have two CP1623 cards for each PC Station! And so, another CP443-1 card for each CPU414-4!!??

With One CP1623 also you can achive the Redundancy with H-CPU

but if you want PC Side redundancy, then you have to used the 2 CP1623,
means if you have one CP1623 & it fail then Your WinCC Station will not work.

Hi,iknow this is an old topic but, is stillhavea question.

Whenigot a configuration with one H-CPU and a redundant WinCC server.

Each server has one CP1623 card with redconnect.

If one station or CP1623 card fails, the other takes over or doesn’t is work like that?
