Read data from S300 with S1200 (DP,MPI)

what exactly HW cfg is on S7-300 side? Ports, CPs, ...

maybe question is how much data you need transfer. In my opinion:

1. you can attach DP Master module to S7-1200 and try configure some user defined I/O area and coordinate data with S7-300, here need to be S7-300 defined as DP Slave. I see here also fill I/O area with S7-300 programatically.

2. you can attach DP Master module to S7-1200 and try configure some S7 connection with S7-300 DP port. It need to be investigate further if S7-300 can use that integrated port as S7 server.

3. Maybe some FDL data exchange can be created also.

from attachment is clear that due HW cfg (in case of use S7-300 integrated |DP port) also in S7-1200 (CP MAster/Slave) only S7 (PUT/GET) and DP comm is possible.
