hookipa Posts: 67 Rating: (0)	Hello, I made a big mistake, I sent a MANMACH.ARC file (from 802SC DVD) for a 802S into my 802D SL.I tried all restore default on startup screen (PLC,HMI,NC) but I can't recover a clean CN. When the NC Start the system button display a blank screen without soft button then I can't send new files or recover from CF card. I tried to connect with RSC802 but the RS232 connection doesn't work. Do you have an idea to solve my issue ?

There are several solutions: 1) Refer to regional Siemens-representation. 2) Overwrite system CF-card inside 802D SL, writing the file there (copied from a working 802D SL system). Artorizatsiya lost, you recover it through the Internet: http://www.siemens.com/automation/license. I do not do it, but I think as an engineer, it should work. Best regards.

Service menu will appear in this you have Default data option.... Hope you should have NC and PLC projects for running your axis.... Check it out.... Regards, Ekalavya

I had a call from french service support and it seems that I kill the firmware. For the link, I found it yesterday but I don't know where to find the 802Dsl.upd Best Regards, Patrice

If it is same system software version you can try taking with the RCS tool.( Backup and write ) Regards, Prakash
