RTU(TCP) or DCS (customer side ) display signal is fluctuate

chteng168 Member Joined: 4/12/2017 Last visit: 5/30/2023 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Dear All, Need you help. single 4-20 mA from a actuator (4 wire system , active 4-20mA) is connector to a panel meter and PLC in series. panel meter display value ok, try measure input PLC (6ES7231-4HD32-0XB0) signal ok...but why the RTU(TCP) or DCS (customer side ) display signal is fluctuate? It is PLC input need to add resistor ? on panel meter is requested add 250ohm, we already add.As per our supplier mention PLC siemens 6ES7231-4HD32-0XB0 is can't connect on series, if we need to connect panel meter and PLC for both , need to add splitter 4-20mA? or because series connection be come signal fluctuate
