S7-1200 protection with Beijer HMI

Programacao02 Member Joined: 2/14/2022 Last visit: 3/9/2023 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a communication working fine with a beijer HMI, the problem is that I want to protect the PLC code from others to access it, but when I change the access level in the PLC to "Read", "HMI" or "No access" , the PLC is protected, but loses communication with the Beijer HMI. In siemens HMI there is a place where I can write plc password, and then hmi works fine, but in beijer hmi I don't know a place to write this password. I want to know if there is a way for me to protect the PLC program, but let the beijer HMI communicate with it to read and set tags, but only the HMI. Thanks.

Hazard_7 Hi Programacao02, Do you have this option activated when you enable protection? You have set the security level too high. Look at the following picture to set the access level properly. You need only one password as indicated by the 2nd arrow. Then follow that up with the put/get setting as Hazard_7 suggested.
