Good afternoon forum,

Quick one this time, im trying to program the SW and HW limits on a table that moves on X and Y.

My questions are...

Is there a Manual/Guide that explains the SW/HW limit funcion?

How do i move the table after the limit has been reached?

I have a manual that explains how to configure S7-1200_HMI_V90 but it dosent go into detail about the limit switches and how to move the table away from the switch when it has been activated.

Please refer attached sheet. Hardware limit switch can be defined in all 4 control modes i.e. PTI, IPos, S & T. But can not define SW limit switch state.

Activation of limit switch results in OFF 3 state of drive hence you need to put PB or switch to bypass activated hard limit switch or practically remove the limit switch so as to restore healthy state & then move table in opposite direction.
