S7-1500 maximum IO devices exceeded

Hi,

I'm using TIA Portal V15 and creating a project with several profinet devices (many danfoss and sew drives) about 36 and using a 1515 2PN CPU. When I compile HW the error message is :

"The maximum permitted number of IO devices (32) has been exceeded by 4"

Is really a maximum number of profinet devices that can be added in TIA with this CPU?

yes this is restriceted.

Look in the technical data of the PLC you will se that only 32 distributed devices can be connected.

Thank you for your answer but that CPU is not mine.

I connected all devices to Port 2 (single RJ45) that permits max 32 devices while Port 1 (double RJ45) permits 64 devices.

then say which PLC you use axactly, which FW Version and which TIA version,

is not really helpfull to say "is not mine" but give no information what you are use

i have read it

no MLFB of the PLC, no FW Version no exact tia portal version

for 1515-2 with 2 PROFINET IO Interfaces you find the techn data here:

Interface X1 = 256 Devices (max. 64 IRT devices)

Interface X2 = 32 Devices (no IRT possible)
