S7-300 CPU replacement

nguyenlong89hui Posts: 28 Rating: (0)	dear all, i have the same problem my customer have a CPU to replace code:6ES7317-2AJ10-0AB0 but product is cancel and replace by 6ES7317-2AK14-0AB0 ,so how i can replace CPU without error,i haven't siemens soft so i put the MMC from old PLC to the new PLC ,it is ok ?

But i would advice to hire someone with Siemens software at hand to help you on this. Replacing a CPU is a bit tricky without making a backup of the program. Regards, Marcjan

Hello, It should work because CPU 6ES7317-2AK14-0AB0 is the successor of CPU 6ES7317-2AJ10-0AB0. You can contact your local siemens representative to do it for you. It is a very easy. Hope this helps.
