S7 Connection - help

Hello everybody,

few days ago i tested S7 communication for first time and it works on first try, so i make new project and tries to communicate via S7 connection with PLC in separate projects. It doesen't works, so i goes back to "classic" S7 connnection (2plcs in one project) and unfortunately it don't work anymore. :(

I tried "old" project where i tests connection for first time and even this project don't work anymore.

When i change ID i get ERROR and STATUS from GET, but when ID is correct, i don't get NDR, even STATUS.
When i configure PUT/GET block i have green check at both bookmarks (connection & adresses), even in online i have both S7 Connections green with text "not avaliable, exists only offline"...

Can anyone help with that? Someone has already encountered this problem and have solution?

PLCS: 1214 & 200SP 1510
In both plc's are PUT/GET allowed, 
They are connected on same switch.
Now 1214 is connected to "switch" port @1510 - nothing change.

Hi,

If you have the two cpus in the same project and make the S7 connection between the cpus, then make sure you download to both cpus so the S7 connection information is downloaded to both cpus.

If you have the cpus in different projects, then in one cpu, you only need to enable the allow put/get option and the other is the one where you call the put/get and create the unspecified S7 connection.

Also make sure the DB areas in both cpus are non-optimized. Then it is a matter of the program logic that calls the put / get.
