i have to communicate with s7 cpu 400 dp to cpu 300 dp communication so what is the process please apply me about this |

Hello salman; Your question is extremely vague. What kind of network communications do you want to establish. How much data? What kind of hardware do you have on your racks? With these 2 CPUs, without adding communication processors, you can setup MPI or Profibus master-slave connections. Wth a Profibus-DP CP in each rack,. you can setup Profibus-DP master-master comms. With an Industriel Ethernet CP in each you can setup TCP/IP, ISO over TCP or client-server connectios. So you have to think this up a bit. Just to show the kind of support you can find on Siemens' support webpages once you clarify what you want to do, here is an example projet (with detailed explanation) on the setup of a S7-400 Master over Profibus-DP with a S7-300 slave. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/6518822 If this is the kind of communication setup you choose to do, you can adapt the project to your needs.
