SCAN cycle of plc is rising above the configured limit and causes CPU to go into STOP

The SCAN cycle of my plc is rising above the configured limit and causes my CPU to go into STOP (300ms). I am using a S7 1511 PLC, and 3 Sinamics V90 drives. Configure everything with an example that I found of SIEMENS. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109739053 Is there something that I need to configure that I did not see in the tutorial? RB91 Gold Member Joined: 4/28/2015 Last visit: 10/22/2024 Posts: 1278 Rating: (300)	Hi, I guess your IRT cycle is synchronized to the MC_Servo OB so you should change the cycle time of the MC_Servo (in the properties of the MC_Servo). The standard setting of 1ms is a little too fast for 1511 PLC, so I suggest to change the factor to 4 so that you have 4ms Servo cycle.

KFoldesi Silver Member Joined: 9/8/2011 Last visit: 8/7/2024 Posts: 537 Rating: (87)	Can you narrow down when the fault occurs? Got any "For next" loops or "do" loops? also in the temporary variables of OB1 you can get the current cycle time. "Move" it to a MD and keep an eye on it.
