Hello Everyboby, Please I need your help ASAP. I've been using the Scout V4.4. HF2 normally in my laptop with Windows 7 Professional SP 1. Last month we bought a new laptop for our customer. So I installed all Simotion Scout SWs like in my laptop. The point here is that the Scout is not working accordingly in customer's laptop. I can open a project normally and compile without erros. But when I try to open the HW-Config, it appears a error (attached file). I reinstall the Scout SWs and the problem persists. It's important to mention that this new laptop had Windows 10 installed and we reinstall the Windows 7 in order to run the Scout V4.4 HF2. Hello Christoph, Please see below my answers: 1.) do you have MS Office installed on the System? If yes the same like on the one who is working? Answer: No, in this new laptop the MS Office is not installed. Only the Simotion Scout + DCC are installed. Could it be the problem? 2.) same Step7 version on both systems? Answer: Yes 3.) can you switch to english , i cant read the error message Answer: The error message in English is: "The server threw an exception" 4.) you say that you can compile, but in the screen in the pdf the compile is not working :( Answer: I can comple by the icon "Save project and compile changes". If I complie "Save and recomplie all" the error you saw appears. Please see the attached messages errors: when I try to open the HW-Config, when I try to open the NetPro and when I try ro "Recomplie all".
