Send and Receive specific byte sequence to serial port with S7-1200 CPU

Le_Taffy@ Posts: 31 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone! I am just starting in tia portal and i would like to communicate my plc (a S7-1200) and a PTS-1 controller through a RS232. A PTS-1 controller is a device that can be used to get informations from pumps dispenders. i would like getting the statut of pump1. find attached the structure of the packet that the Master (S7-1200) musst send to slave (PTS-controller) in other getting the statut from it. Also, find attached the program i did. The problem is that, i don't know where i should write the paquet (or the request) that the master have to send to the slave (10 02 31 53 55 AD 10 03) in other getting the STATUT of pump1. I recommend create 2 DBs with Struct of Array of Byte (long enough of max expected send/recv length + little more for sure) and fill that data with required byte sequence.
