Servo is half-slow problem

AutoGen_6387681 Joined: 3/14/2023 Last visit: 9/20/2024 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Velocity seems to be normally written into technology But the actual speed(rpm) value that comes from the technology moves at half the normal operating speed Can you guess what the problem is when you see it? Or what are some settings related to rpm speed? Thank you in advance

daviso Bronze Member Joined: 11/4/2011 Last visit: 11/11/2024 Posts: 237 Rating: (26)	Hi there, you might check this FAQ about the TOs control structure to see which value is coming from where: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109770664 In short: ActualVelocity is based on the encoder feedback (and in the unit you set for the TO), ActualSpeed is rpm and based on the NIST_B value that comes from the drive (taking into account the actor load gear you parametrized at the TO, and scaled with the actor settings you made). So if both values really show different speeds, check the settings they are based on. I guess there is some difference that is not correct. Regards, daviso
