It is not possible to use profibus to link two S7-200 PLCs. The profibus module available forS7-200 is EM227which can only be a profibus slave. You need a master in the network. So this is not possible unless you have some other master in the network. For communication betweenS7-200 PLC, you can either use PPI network which is available on CPU. Or you can use CP243-1 to do it over ethernet. This isalso not possible. You can use EM277 as MPI slave and connect TP to it. Or are talking about connecing to TP from CPU port using a profibus cable? In this case, you are not using profibus network, it is still a PPI interface. You are just using profibus cables and connectors beacuse physically they are both RS-485 |
