Setbit While key pressed not working

Saggy Silver Member Joined: 11/8/2011 Last visit: 11/5/2024 Posts: 387 Rating: (43)	Dear Experts, I am using TP1200 comport TIA Portal version12 i made face plate where i used open and close buttons In the event of open button i am using press and release action in press action i made setbit ib tag and release i made reset bit in tag but actually its not happening as per the requirement if i press the button it should set the tag upto i keep the press but its not happening Please guide on this Thanks in Advance

First, place the same tag at one IO field (as input/output) and check if you can read / write it. After that place two buttons: one to set, the other to reset (by pressing just).

Perhaps you can download Service Pack 1 for TIA Portal V12 Service Pack 1 for SIMATIC STEP 7 V12 (TIA Portal) incl.
